日前 R 的公司舉辦年終 Year End Party (YEP)。跟去年一樣,整個廣大的 county expo 會場以及停車場,全部被包了下來,員工可以攜伴一名參加,R 也就帶著老婆我,手牽手一起去吃喝玩樂啦。
YEP 是以 buffet 的方式供餐,各式餐點、飲料、酒、娛樂項目,通通都是 all you can eat, all you can drink, play till you drop。
公司很貼心,為了讓大家盡情玩樂暢懷吃喝,不必擔心酒後駕車的問題,特地安排好幾部大型遊覽巴士往返會場與不遠處的 Marriott Hotel,公司員工可以用優惠價格訂房,所以 R 跟我每年的 YEP 也都是在 Marriott 過周末。
下午先到飯店 check in。因為我們是 Platinum 級的會員,可以早 check in 晚 check out,還幸運地被 upgraded 到比 suite 還棒的樓中樓 loft 房間,並且可以挑選贈送的 complimentary 迎賓禮,我們選的是 wine、cheese、crackers and chocolates。以普通房又打折過的價格入住 loft,真是讓人愉快呀。
小憩一番之後,接著梳妝打扮,搭上第一班七點半的專車去趴踢囉。
我們玩得很盡興,享美食、飲美酒、玩 Poker、Black Jack、Roulette、Raffle、拍沙龍照、跳了舞,一直玩到凌晨兩點才醺醺然地離開。
